ATUSIN is pleasant-tasting syrup with beneficial effects on respiratory tract health, including the lungs, bronchial tubes, trachea, pharynx, and throat. It maintains the feeling of comfort in the throat and chest and facilitates breathing. It is also appropriate for children.
Content of the recommended daily dose for adults and children above 12 years of age (30 ml):
ATUSIN is a dietary supplement.
Unlike the alcohol extract, the water propolis extract has high concentrations of organic aromatic acids, which are the main biological active substances that have a beneficial effect on the health of the mucosa and the respiratory tract (lungs, bronchial tubes, trachea, pharynx, and throat). It maintains these organs in their natural physiological condition: healthy and clear.
Coughing is a natural defence reflex mechanism by which the body attempts to remove secretions or foreign objects from its respiratory tract. The respiratory tract (throat, pharynx, trachea, bronchial tubes, and lungs) is the gateway for a number of pathogenic microorganisms. This is why the respiratory tract is generally most affected by infections. Coughing occurs when specific receptors in the respiratory tract are stimulated. Once stimulated, the receptors send nerve impulses to the brain, which responds by transmitting a cough signal as the body attempts to remove the irritant.
When the body is healthy, it is able to successfully clear the respiratory tract by coughing. However, the cough reflex is not sufficient to expectorate the phlegm accumulated as a result of inflammation caused by flu, cold, or other viral or bacterial respiratory infections. Coughs are usually classified as either chesty or dry:
