Novarix

WHAT IS NOVARIX?

NOVARIX is a condition-specific supplement that maintains vein health, elasticity, and tonicity. It supplies the body with substances that are key to the condition of vein walls.

COMPOSITION

Each tablet of NOVARIX contains:

  • 500 mg of micronized purified flavonoid fraction (MPFF) containing 90% diosmin (450 mg) and 10% flavonoids (50 mg) expressed as hesperidin
  • 100 mg of hydrolysed type-III collagen
  • 50 mg of elastin

NOVARIX is available in 3 packages of 30, 60 or 90 tablets.

Novarix is a dietary supplement.

Type-III collagen

There are more than 20 types of collagen in the human body, and they have different functions in the different body parts. Type-III collagen has the most important role in blood vessels. Type-III collagen fibres create a fine net in the vessel wall, which supports their shape, structure, and volume. The strength of this collagen net determines the strength of the vessel wall. After the age of 30, the natural collagen production decreases as a result of aging. The intake of additional amounts of type-III collagen enables the body to maintain vessel wall health.

Elastin

Elastin is another important component of the vessel wall which ensures its tonicity and elasticity. When elastin is structured properly and in sufficient amounts, vessel walls can handle extra loads caused by standing or sitting for long periods and incorrect posture, for example.

Micronized purified flavonoid fraction (containing 90% diosmin and 10% flavonoids expressed as hesperidin). Flavonoids are powerful antioxidants which protect cells against the destructive effects of free radicals and other stressful factors of their environment. The flavonoids in NOVARIX are purified and micronized which contributes to their faster absorption and higher bioavailability in the cardiovascular system. Once in the blood circulation, flavonoids generate a beneficial effect on vessel epithelium, vessel walls, and venous valves.

WHO IS NOVARIX INTENDED FOR?

NOVARIX has a favourable effect on the veins and their valve function in the whole body. Its effect is well established in the lower extremity superficial veins and the perianal area.
